The driving force behind Paws of War is the support of our compassionate donors. Some of the funding that enables our programs to help our nation's heroes comes from foundations, trusts, and local businesses, but most donations are made by kind individuals who want to give back to those who bravely serve(d) our country. We honor your trust in us and are committed to using every dollar for the highest good of our Veterans, Servicemembers, and First Responders.
Paws of War is certified by America’s Best Charities, with their seal of excellence; a certification awarded to nonprofit organizations that meet standards for public accountability, program efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
We are also verified with the State Registrations Compliance Shield - an accreditation awarded to non-profit organizations that are fully registered and compliant with state-level charitable solicitation requirements.
Paws of War has two top charity ratings: Charity Navigator's Four Star Rating, and the Candid (Formerly Guide Star) Platinum Seal of Transparency; meeting strong operational, financial, and transparency standards.
